Company history Foundation After its foundation in 1962, the consultancy mainly worked in the municipal civil engineering field. Soon it developed into one of the best-known Bavarian-Suebian engineering companies. Management Today´s owner and managing director, Mr. Stefan Steinbacher graduated in civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 1978. He first worked as the head of the planning department for eight years, before he took over the consultancy in 1987. During his management, the employee number increased from 20 then to more than 200 people.
		Heading Eastwards The opening of the eastern European frontiers in 1989 gave the opportunity for the grounding of branch offices in eastern Germany, Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria.
