| Surveying and GIS for the Lake Ammersee Area Steinbacher-CONSULT determined and structured all required data to develop a complete documentation of the water supply network and the sewerage system. Therefore ample sureveying work was necessary. The object-oriented GIS database was programmed inhouse and contains all technical information of the networks including their condition. So also all rehabilitation work could be coordinated and controlled. The pipework operators dispose and attend the complete information system by themselves. For smaller systems Steinbacher-CONSULT also offers database maintenance based on a service contract.

| After completion of the initial stages the Steinbacher-CONSULT Enterprises was engaged for the continued data-collection over the next 5 years and also the continuous updating of the Land Registry. New methods were pioneered during the processing of the development concept and the foundations laid for future large scale projects.
