Inspection of civil engineering structures in accordance with DIN 1076
DIN 1076 governs the monitoring and inspecting of civil engineering structures connected to roads and byways. The necessary controls at regular intervals serve to maintain traffic safety, the durability and stability of bridges, noise barriers, retaining walls and others.
The obligation to monitor civil engineering structures results from the duty to construct and maintain roads and the duty to ensure road safety. Based on these inspections the need for reconstruction is recognised at an early stage and the work can therefore be carried out cost-effectively. Furthermore, a book of specifications has to be ready for each civil engineering structure. Apart from the final drawings the book contains information on the most important specifications of the structure. It is our pleasure to cordially invite you to our seminar on 15 April 2010, 8h30 until about 13h00.
