SIGE – coordination
Health and safety regulations for construction sites (Construction Sites Ordinance – BaustellV, Germany) together with labour protection laws and the EU Directive on Building Sites ensure better protection of construction workers from accidents on the job. Under certain conditions the client has to appoint a coordinator for health and safety at construction sites (SiGeKo). Support is rendered in the planning stage when the processes, methods and sequences of construction are planned. We also assist with the compilation of a security and health protection plan (SiGePlan) and the preparation of documents for a later stage of construction work. During construction we support you by coordinating the implementation of the general principles of labour protection laws and by monitoring that construction workers carry out their tasks and implement working procedures according to the rules.
