Precision levelling

Precision levelling is indispensable for high-precision subsidence controls or when foundations for machines are measured or the level of floor boards is checked. It requires specialist high precision instruments, which automatically register themselves via a barcode, or specialist precision levelling staffs (Invar Staffs).

Measuring equipment has to be calibrated and tested on a regular basis by experts. Our society’s demand for high precision measuring data is constantly increasing. This includes, for example, the densification of benchmark networks (e.g. German state of Saxony) which in future will serve as the surveying basis for other projects.

Accuracy of measurements is to one tenth of a millimetre.
