Rails connect
The desire for mobility is constantly increasing. Instrumental factors for customer satisfaction with railway travel are the duration of the trip, reliability and convenience. This can only be achieved if traffic infrastructure is excellent. The railway network has to meet the requirements of high speed, commuter and goods traffic routes as well as those of the interfaces with local public transport and individual passenger traffic. On the other hand the growing burden experienced by residents close to railway lines because of increasing traffic volumes has to be reduced as far as possible with appropriate protection measures such as sound insulating walls or, in the case of new buildings, by choosing a suitable line. The planning of track superstructures and underground construction, loading stations, platforms, park and ride facilities, station forecourts, railway bridges, sound insulating walls, drainage and underground cable engineering are just a few of the interdisciplinary project tasks which are supported by in-house surveying of the railway siding.
