Roads are the lifelines of a mobile society
Basic evaluation, the planning of alternatives and sophisticated designs right up to planning the licensing procedure and implementation are all part of integrated road planning. National as well as international standards and basic norms have to be taken into account. It is essential that road planning - including all equipment and secondary structures, drainage facilities and waste water treatment, as well as the planning of bridges and supporting structures, civil engineering structures and ecological compensation plans in the form of landscape management – takes place under one roof for projects of any size. Safety, cost-effectiveness and the protection of the environment are the most important guidelines. The planning and construction of streets for residents only, through-roads, bypasses, service roads, utility services, facilities for public and stationary transport, junctions and traffic circles as well as different categories of roads (district, county, national) up to motorways guarantee the mobility of our society.
