Rainwater management

Rainwater management includes a series of measures for the ecological and economic utilization of rainwater. New building, for example, have to be planned in such a way that they interfere as little as possible with the natural rainwater cycle. If rainwater is simply channelled into drains the result is not only that regeneration of groundwater is reduced, storm water drainage becomes more critical or surface waters are polluted, but it also has to be seen as a significant cost factor. A fairer distribution of costs in this case is the splitting of sewage fees.
